Vase with bulbous body and long narrow neck with turquoise glaze, Burmantofts Faience, about 1890. The streaky glazes used by Burmantofts were originally inspired by Christopher Dresser's nearby Linthorpe Pottery. After that pottery closed in 1889, some of the workers moved to Burmantofts.
