Oak towel rail with wax finish designed and made by Gordon Russell. This second version of the towel rail design was considered a great improvement on the first, 1984.139. Russell said, ''They show the development of my work. One is better than the other and has a much better finish. The rail that holds the clothes is placed diagonally and chamfers on the upright make a nice finish as an octagon at the top.'
