William Morris (designer), Morris & Company (manufacturer)

Woven wool curtain in Tulip and Rose designed by William Morris. It was Morris's first design for a woven textile. At this stage, Morris was also very interested in woven carpets, and it is probable that this design was first made at the same company that made the carpets, the Heckmondwike Manufacturing Company in Yorkshire.
