Letter from ‘GW’ to Philip Webb. Written to accompany some apples sent to Webb. No date. Found in ‘Manners and Customs of the Ancient Egyptians’ by John Gardner Wilkinson.
My dear Webb[i] – I send you the first instalment out of the new cask of apples. I think they are as good as the others. They have the advantage just now of being very fresh and crisp
Truly yours
[GW]
