Hollowed-out gourd of squat form with a separate lid which is elaborately cut out from the body with openwork decoration. The word Ajaccio is incised on the lid. Both body and lid have incised foliate and petal decoration. The base with an eight-petalled flower. Register states from Algeria, but inscription suggests a souvenir from Corsica.
